Welcome to the newest party theme in Brisbane – Painting Parties!

You don’t need to be an artist or creative genius to have fun at a painting party. In fact, we find that absolute beginners seem to get the most out of them. You don’t have to go to a city venue or wait until your painting subject is available – if you live in or near Brisbane you can host your own party at home!

Choose from one of the sample images below, contact Art Fun on 0401 090 060 or tony@artfun.com.au to get your party started!

An Art Fun art party is not a formal art class, even though the presenter is a qualified teacher. At its heart is the concept of having fun with others. We do guide you through a painting, but we do it in a way that allows guests to relax and enjoy the process. They do come away with a creation that is theirs alone, ready to frame and hang.

Art Fun is about making painting available to people who don’t consider themselves artists or creative in any way. An Art Fun painting party is a stress-free zone with lots of fun and laughs that make this night a night you won’t forget. The relaxed non-judgmental environment inspires everyone to enjoy the process of creating something from nothing and being proud of it.

Painting and wine parties are becoming very popular. You need not fear going – most people are going for their first time too – and most people come away feeling very good about themselves and their experience.

People of all ages attend these events. Young or old or somewhere in between, it doesn’t matter. You have something to gain by hosting or attending an Art Fun painting party at home.

Whether you invite family, friends, or a date to a painting party you and they are guaranteed to have fun.

Art Fun brings all the art supplies. You begin with a blank canvas, a pencil, and a small printout of what the final painting should look like. The presenter will take you step-by-step through the painting process, so that you can go away knowing something about how to do it again on your own if you wanted to. Or you can just tick that one off your bucket list. It’s your choice.

The presenter gently guides you – there is never a reason to feel less than comfortable and competent to do each step. If you didn’t hear or see an instruction, just ask. You might be amazed at the patience you will be shown, and how many others would be glad you asked. No question is stupid.
